I have been on the search for camo print pants for awhile now. Last year my boss bought a pair from LOFT, but by the time I got around to buy them there they were all gone. Hence my little hunt for a pair of my own. Well, around Christmas time my friend and I were at our local mall shopping and stopped in at Cotton On since they were having a massive sale and we all needed some Christmas gifts. Well it just so happened that they had a few different pants on sale and one pattern that happened to be camo! Now you can believe my excitement that I finally happened upon a pair again. So I grabbed two different sizes to try on. Well, I tried the smaller size on, but the bottom of the pants were so tight that I couldn’t get them over my ankles. Have you ever had this happen?! Please tell me I am not the only one!
So there I am in the dressing room and I can’t get the smaller size on completely..So I tried on the next size up. Still not able to get the bottom part past my ankles. However, I can get them on more than the last pair. Enough to know that I liked them but that they were too big and I wouldn’t wear them. That is when I decided to buy the smaller size and I would just cut the ankles so I could get them on (confession: not the first time I’ve cut the ankles of jeans).
I get home and cut the ankles, and eventually get the pants on. Woo Hoo! However, this is when I realized the pants have no stretch or give what so ever. Sitting? Barely happening…squatting? Definitely not happening! But I had the pants on and I loved them so much. I mean look how cute they are!
