Today I wanted to share with you a project that I have been working extremely hard on the last few weeks! If you follow me on snapchat (justmissymoo) than you’ve been along for the struggle that has been this 2016 calendar.

For my final project this past semester we got to choose anything that we wanted to do. Creating a calendar has been on the back of my mind, but I knew if I left it up to myself I wouldn’t have been able to complete it for the new year. So having it be a school project forced me to have it done by a certain time. However, let me tell you it was so much work! I did not think it through about choosing a theme and having to create 12 different designs rather than just one for one project like my fellow classmates. I am extremely proud of the way it came out though, and have given it as a Christmas gift to multiple people already!

Each month has a different watercolor pattern that was created by myself. I choose which pattern went with each month by thinking of something an object that represented each month. However, I didn’t want to be too cliche so I tried my best to have each month be a little unique. My favorites are the popsicles for August, and the pine trees for December!

I hope you all love this calendar as much as I do! Also, be on the lookout each month for a free desktop, and mobile version of each mont to download!
