Working from home really does have its perks, but it can also be really lame at times. I’m the type of person who thrives off having a routine. You need me to get up early every day? I got this. I need to be somewhere at a certain time every day? I will be there. I do very well on a schedule. However, working from home means that there really is no schedule. You kind of just get to go and do as you please. So as nice as it is to work in your pajamas all day, it means that you never actually got ready.

This is my struggle lately. I still accomplish things, but I don’t feel as accomplished once my list of things to do is completed. I get up whenever I feel like it, sometimes I get a work out in, and it’s a really good day if I get out of the house. Which as a homebody I really don’t mind staying in all day, but every day…I am starting to get tired of being home. Something I never thought I would say!

Now a days when I do get out of the house it means I aim to look my best. I love getting ready for the day ahead, I mean I’m a fashion blogger…it comes with the territory. This look I wore last week to a wedding professionals networking event. I love that in todays culture a good dark pair of jeans can be dressed up and look pretty nice.  I paired it with these Steve Madden heels, and a matching color block clutch.

You are so cute!!!! I absolutely love this outfit and your shoes! Working from home does have its perks, but it’s nice to be able to have a set schedule. Maybe you can set a set schedule for yourself and do a couple hours at a local coffee shop a couple days a week?!
